MEET THE OWNER - AMANDA KINNEY

With a championship-winning background and a passion for developing athletes, Amanda brings a fresh vision and strong leadership to Northern Elite. A former Hackettstown High School Cheer Coach, she has guided teams to multiple titles, blending technical expertise with a deep understanding of what it takes to inspire success. Her background in cheer and dance adds a creative edge, helping athletes refine both precision and performance in their sport.

Beyond the gym, Amanda has extensive experience on the business side of athletics and education, currently working with Celebrate the Children in Denville, NJ. She understands the dedication, organization, and vision required to run a top-tier program, ensuring Northern Elite continues to grow and thrive.

Amanda resides in Great Meadows, NJ, with her husband Gerrit, who serves on the Independence Police Department, and their daughter Addie, a talented gymnast and competitive cheerleader. Her family’s love for the sport runs deep, making Northern Elite not just a gym, but a community she is excited to lead.
